ABSTRACT
Objective To investigate the expression of myeloid antigen(MyAg) in acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) and its correlation with clinical characteristics and prognosis.Methods The clinical data of 103 newly diagnosed ALL 1patients were retrospectively analyzed.These patients were divided into myeloid antigen-positive group (MyAg+ ALL) and myeloid antigen-negative group(MyAgALL) based on the flow cytometry(FCM) analysis in bone marrow.The correlation of MyAg expression with the clinical features,short-term efficacy and 5-year overall survival were assessed in the two groups.Results MyAg expression was detected in 46.5％ out of 103 cases and CD13,CD33 were the most commonly expressed MyAg(34.2％ and 21.4％ respectively).The expression of CD34 in MyAg+ ALL group was higher than MyAgALL group(75.3％ vs 60.5％,P ＜0.05).The expression of MyAg in T-ALL group (66.7％) was higher than B-ALL group (42.8％) (P ＜ 0.05).The clinical and biological characteristics of ALL patients between MyAg+ and MyAggroups showed that higher percentage of incoincidence of classification between morphology and immunology.Conclusion MyAg expression was not correlated with clinical characteristics and prognosis of ALL patients.

ObjectiveTo investigate the clinical therapeutic effect and safety of solifenacin suceinate in the treatment of overactive bladder symptom after benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH)operation.MethodsAmong 115 patients receiving BPH surgery,58 cases were given solifenacin at bedtime 4 d after surgery for 20 d (treatment group),and 57 cases were given anisodamine after surgery (control group).The urination of patients before and after pulling out catheter were observed,and urodynamic examination,international prostatic symptoms score (IPSS) and overactive bladder symptom score (OABSS) were used to evaluate urination status.ResultsIn treatment group,IPSS and OABSS decreased from 28.3 to 11.3 score and from (14.2±1.2) to (2.9±0.7) score before and after treatment,respectively (P＜0.01).In control group,IPSS and OABSS decreased from 27.3 to 11.8 score (P＜0.01) and from (14.2±1.6) to (11.3±1.1) score before and after treatment,respectively (P＞0.05).ConclusionsThe proper use of solifenacin after prostate operation may release bladder distress and facilitate rehabilitation in patients with overactive bladder symptom.

Objective To identify epitope of neutrophil-activating protein(NAP) of Helicobacter pylori(Hp).Methods Using the mouse monoclonal antibodies against NAP as selective molecular and immunoscrcening phage-display random 7-peptides library.The positive clones were sequenced and analyzed.Phage clones were chosen to immunize mice and to evaluate the potential of phagotopes as effective vaccines.Results One mimotope(FAHLATQ)showed a good match with the NAP at 140-143 AA(AHLA)and the serum of mice induced by the phage clone clearly recognized NAP.Conclusion This study suggests thatthe antigenic epitope could be mapped through screening the phage-display peptide library with monoclonalantibody and a mimotopo of NAP providing an ahernative approach for the diagnosis and development of avaccine for Hp.
